I was brought on to design the Ideas section for six months. The Ideas section is incredibly cool, esoteric, and involved a ton of conceptual illustration. Early on, I decided to use typography as much as possible to try to communicate the stories, as the content was so abstract. This gave the Ideas section a neat continuity from week to week.
